“To be a legend is easy. To become that legend takes hard work and pure dedication” Rafael Nadal
This delicious grilled Lamb and Mint Burger with Harissa sauce was an absolutely tremendous dish to have post run.
Whilst we should limit the amounts of red meat that we eat to only once a week if possible, it is important that we still consume some, especially Lamb.
Lamb contains lots of L-Carnosine and is a huge source of protein whilst also being densely packed with nutrients.
It also has a suprising amount of Omega 3 fatty acids and some healthy fats.
Spinach is VERY low in Calories and fats and is probably the next best greenvegetable we should eat after Kale. The leaves contain one of the highest reccommended levels in terms of controlling cholesterol.
On a day whereby you consume Spinach, its leaves already contain 25% of your recommended daily iron intake 💪. It also improves eyesight, aids the retaining and maintenence of bone matrix and maintains good blood cells and blood pressure whilst boosting your metabolism.
You will notice that I do not consume red meat only on the rare occasion every so often. This is because the process involved in getting the meat on to our supermarket shelves is very damaging to our environment.
